About DermAction® Product Range

These products operate on the principle of synergy of organic acids. This principle is known since 1930's. If you want to keep food safe, for example,  -just put it in vinegar or lemon juice. Organic acid kills bacteria, only leaving the food with a sour taste, so it was necessary to develop artificial preservatives which today are a concern to consumers. 

We've found compelling benefits of combining organic acids & creating a synergy without the disadvantages. Organic acids are super efficient anti-bacterial, in some cases more effective then chlorine, but not a hazard. The properties of organic acids in cosmetic applications are also known and widely documented. Several organic acids have reappeared on the market, they are found primarily in health food stores, and most of them are terribly bitter and contain quaternary ammoniums (from the acid extraction methods) that are harmful for human consumption.

So what about CitrusDefence®? It is a synergy of organic acids, with well known principles, but it is the result of the latest technologies of extraction and purification, making it a very stable product, free of bitter taste (at the recommended dilution) and no quaternary ammoniums (This is the only one on the market). CitrusDefence® therefore has no equivalent.

DermAction®:
This is a line of cosmetics products predominantly made of CitrusDefence®, a synergy of organic acids based on extensive research using botanical extracts, especially bioflavonoids. All ingredients in the DermAction® product line are 100% natural and organic. There are no quaternary ammonium in the DermAction® products.

All cosmetic products of DermAction® range are natural and without rinsing. Thus, their effects do not stop at their sole application, but last longer. Because unlike other alcohol based antibacterial that kill bacteria and then evaporates, the active ingredient CitrusDefence® of DermAction® range products remain on the skin longer and protects better.
